π° I'm a senior news designer and art director with The Washington Postβs climate team, where I craft digital storytelling experiences from ideation through publication. I specialize in collaborating with artists and reporters to find unique, compelling ways to bring complex stories to life through design, art direction, and interactive experiences.
Since joining The Post in 2020, I've worked across digital projects, illustration, art direction, and print design β including A1, Sunday Business, and special products.
π₯ Previously, I was part of GateHouse Media's digital innovation team, building custom graphics and interactive experiences for investigative journalism. I also designed for PATTERN Magazine in Indianapolis.
πI graduated from Ball State University (chirp chirp!) with a degree in journalism graphics, where I also served as creative director for The Ball State Daily News and art director for Ball Bearings Magazine.
π₯Ύ Outside the newsroom, I'm hiking, bird watching, or hanging out with my cat Bucky.
